Ford Focus ST
From now on there is available a performance enhancement kit for the flagship of the Ford Focus line. A considerable improvement of the engine power output as well as a drastic increase of the torque could be achieved through a modification of the engine control unit as well as through small alterations in the routeing of air flow.
The standard engine already reaches powerful 225hp and will receive a plus of 35hp in order to reach 260hp at 6200 r/min. The torque is raised to 390 Nm and is already accessible below the 2000 r/min. It is not surprising that the acceleration is raised by 0,8 seconds. The increased engine also lifts the final speed by perceptible 15km/h to reach 256 km/h.
At the cost of a very insignificant rise in fuel consumption the car is much more agile and nippy. This makes itself felt clearly in the fun of driving.
